Saskatchewan Minerals is the only sodium sulphate producer in North America who can ship daily on three major railways. In addition to the Canadian Pacific Railway, rail transfer sites are established on the Canadian National Railway and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. This ability to ship via alternate railways allows for improved transit times and competitive advantages for our customers.
We operate a fleet of 100 leased railcars consisting of gravity, gravity pneumatic and pressure differential cars. The customized fleet is designed to fit all known unloading systems currently being utilized in the sodium sulphate industry. In an attempt to better serve our customers, we have also established facilities in Vancouver, Washington; Madison, Wisconsin; St. Louis, Missouri; Barberton, Ohio; Detroit, Michigan; Joliet, Illinois; Memphis, Tennessee; Williston, North Dakota; Toronto, Ontario; Edmonton, Alberta and Moncton, New Brunswick. We have implemented a total quality management system to ensure production of high quality sodium sulphate required by each of our valued customers. We produce a high-grade detergent sodium sulphate that exceeds the standards in all applications. (Meets Food Chemicals Codex Specifications C Fourth Edition 1996-CAS No. 7757-82-6) Shipping
